J Allard becomes CXO (Chief eXperience Officer) of Microsoft

J Allard who was previously Vice President of Microsoft’s, has been elevated to the position of CXO (Chief eXperience Officer) and CTO of Microsoft’s Entertainment and Devices Division. He previously had large roles in the introduction of the Zune and the XBOX and is now in charge of “the technical architecture and user experiences related to products and services of the Entertainment and Devices (E&D) division.” He will also be in charge of the Entertainment and Devices divisions “incubation team”, which is responsible for looking out for new opportunities for the development of products.
