Ever drop your cell phone in the toilet and ruin it? Well now you can drop your cell phone in the toilet without fear of destroying it with a new invisible coating from Golden Shellback. With the new coating you can spill and even submerge your electronic device in water and it will still function. The company claims their coating will protect against oils, water, synthetic fluids and even dust and dirt. Patrick Norton from Tekzilla did a review of the new coating in the above video. The coating covers the inner and outer parts of the device and is applied within a vacuum. Golden Shellbacks coating isn’t available to the public as of yet but the company hopes to release it soon. Costs are estimated at about $50 to $75 depending on the size of the gadget to be coated.

This new coating seems too good to be true, but as the video shows its sure to be a must have for any new electronic device.
