Making games on Zune with XNA Game Studio
For you mobile gamers out there, now there is another reason to get a Zune. Microsoft has been nice enough to supply Zune users with a free tool with which you can make fun mini games. This tool is called the XNA Game Studio. Using the 3.0 version, you can make games with relative ease for the Zune, and then share them amongst you friends. This starkly differs from Apple’s current distribution of games, which are limited to the iPod Classic. While Apple has yet to release their AppStore (which will include games) Microsoft has been ahead of the game. In the end, this edge may help Microsoft win some more popularity in the iPod dominated Mp3 player industry.
