Common makes the Zune cool
Zune tried so hard for the last few years to prove how cool they were, and looks like it finally worked. Hip Hop artist Common featured a Zune music player in the video for his new song from album “Universal Mind Control.” The Apple iPod has been the must have MP3 player since it was first released, but it looks like the artist who have gotten behind the Zune have caused many music aficionados take a second look at the iPods competitor. Common first got involved with the Zune when he did a show for a Microsoft run concert in LA and later Zune sponsored Common’s last tour. Common was recently featured in a Zune commercial. Common went on to say in an interview that the Zune was “progressive, fresh, innovative.” Whether Common is being paid a handsome amount for his kind words about the Zune or if he really is a Zune fan is not known, but seeing how the Zune really loves to cater to up and coming artists it’s no surprise that an artist like Common would be more inclined to the artist inspiring Zune.
