InspireTech delivers inexpensive portable speakers for the Zune

Everyone has seen the seemingly millions of iterations of travel ready iPod speakers. They sell them everywhere now: from Sharper Image to Kohl’s. However, for those of us in the Zune world, are there any alternatives? The answer is yes. There are several mobile docking speakers like these for the iPod available for the Zune. But let’s say that you want a really good deal, rather than paying $100 for the equivalent of an iHome.

Thankfully, I have found a cheap alternative to those with insane “accessory tax”. This alternative is the Universal Fold-Out Speakers from InspireTech Electronics. Coming in black or white, these fold out speakers deliver superior audio for their class- all put together in an unfolding cube. Being shaped as a cube, this portable speaker system provides a fun way to get some sound out of your Zune when you are hanging out with your friends on the streets or at the beach. At only $8.99, these speakers give a way better deal than any other manufacturer, with out skimping on quality.

The device can be powered either by 4 AAA batteries, or with a DC 6V wall adapter. This way, you can go mobile with it, or use it at home or in the office. The music is played through a 1/4 sized universal audio jack(the standard for all headphones and Mp3 players), which can be plugged into the headphone port for your player. This can be controlled by a volume wheel so you may adjust the loudness to your setting.

While you are playing your music, your Zune sits in a dock station, which fits all of the different Zune Models. Once you are done listening, you can fold up the speakers into it’s oblong cube shape and stow the audio cable. This makes the speakers perfect for placing in a purse or backpack without having to worry about it getting damaged.

For the money an quality, there is no reason why you should not consider this product.
